Veneer Graphics Launched
Will on February 15, 2009
Veneer Graphics, after months and months of designing, coding and all sorts of other wordpress stuff, is live. I spent ages trying to find a nice design that suited me and Veneer and finally found it, late at night in Pages with Tom Baker.
Have a look around the site and enjoy.

Hi, Will!
Wow, cool! It’s up, I like the color and the logo – and even the logo is the only graphic you use on the site, the rest of the elements of the site are texts and (coded) lines. Beautiful, simple and do much thing
Great job!
Chris.

Everything is perfect, of course!
VG now has a fantastic website to go along with the fantastic designer.
Good work Will.
Here’s to a great year!

Hello.
I am unsure about the design about this site, however. I think the more-typical-mac-book/mac-book-pro design is a bit more of a Blog. I am also a bit against the Who I am/What I’m Doing/Elsewhere sections. Are these used? Are these necessary?
Sorry about the rant, but it had to be said.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the feedback. What is meant by ‘the more-typical-mac-book/mac-book-pro’ design? Any examples of where this is used? The Who I am/What I’m Doing/Elsewhere sections are really used as a ’sneek peak’ as to what you can see on the other pages without actually having to go there first. These sections are updated as regularly as the site is.
The feedback is good as it helps me to learn more about what I’m doing wrong, and hopefully encorporate some of this into future designs of the site.
